 Work, photography and burlesque!

Sorry I've not had mush time to update the blog, but the college merger project is eating up all the time I have available. There's not much longer to go on it though, so hopefully I will be able to relax a bit more when it is over and devote my attentions to getting the professional photography off the ground. The project is proving to be very difficult, not least as some of the key players could be said to appear to want to derail the process.
The pressure and impending deadlines on the project are such that my proposed photography trip to Italy now looks in jeopardy! Given that I've already paid for this I'm not too happy but I realise that work comes first.
I would like to upload some photographs here but blogstream just doesn't want to allow me to do that. I have emailed the powers that be and received no reply. I guess I'll just have to persevere and see if I can get some shots up.
Work and photgraphy aside, things are going great with Lady Louise. It's now been two months since she moved in with me and they have been two very happy months. We laugh a lot!
We have had some great days and nights out, not least to the Glee Club in birmingham to see Candybox burlesque. Fab night. I know Louise has posted something about this on her blog, but it is worth repeating here...Imelda May, who performed that night has the most fantastic voice! The whole vibe that night was great, not least the audience participation in dressing up! Can't wait for the next one.
anyway...back to work on my project now....will try and post some more updates soon and will continue to try to get som e photos up here. Bye for now.

 Thoughtfulness

Thoughtfulness - a definition
Synonyms - thoughtful, considerate, attentive, solicitous - these adjectives mean having or showing concern for the well-being of others. Although 'thoughtful' and 'considerate' are often used interchangeably, 'thoughtful' implies a tendency to anticipate needs or wishes, whereas 'considerate' stresses sensitivity to another's feelings.
Wouldn't the World be a much better place if we were all more 'thoughtful' to others?

Three Into Two Does Not Go

Keeping two people, who are close to you but not eachother, happy is never easy. As one of the two people in such an equation, I understand this but it doesn't make things any easier. I do understand that the central figure in this equation is between a rock and a hard place and I'm angry about that, particularly as it was not me that shovelled the rubble. To make things a little easier for that person, I have to bite my lip which isn't easy, as anyone who knows me will testify. Silence doesn't mean I'm accepting of the situation though - it just means that I don't want to add to any stress the person in the middle might be feeling already. As the old saying goes...two's company, three's a crowd!!

'Tis the season to be jolly!........yeah right!!!!

Well I'm back again. Been trying to upload some photos for some time but the blogstream seems intent on denying me this right. Despite my best efforts, I remain thwarted so I have resorted to a traditional literary update.
Christmas was again a time much anticipated yet best soon forgotten. The previous two Christmas periods had been times of great stress and certainly not seasons of goodwill. This festive season proved to be no exception.
In a nutshell, someone close to both Louise and I decided that the run up to Christmas would be a good time to wreak havoc and cause much upset. In this respect, that person was successful in upsetting both the Lady and myself but at least we had eachother. Christmas then took a turn for the better though when Lady Louise moved in with me on Christmas Eve.
It's now been nearly a month of living together and we are both very happy. Louise has even developed culinary skills she never knew she had.
The work project I am involved with is progressing well as is the photography course. In respect of the latter, I am going to Italy in February on the photographic course residential, staying in Bergamo and taking in Milan and Lake Garda. Should get some good shots and I'm really looking forward to it, though I will miss my new housemate!
She will be coming with me and my children to Australia (Perth) though later in the year where my sister's family live. My sister has been out there for nearly 15 years and I've never yet been able to get out there, so I'm looking forward to going emmensely.
I suppose that the lessons from all of this are that:
- things much anticipated often fail to live up to expectations
- people can only hide their true colours for so long
- love conquers all!
Here's to 2007!!

 Photo Shoot

Hiya bloggers!
I thought that as Lady louise has mentioned the fashion shoot with her, I should upload some photos for you all to see, so here they are.
I went for a mix of low-key and high key photos and these are the two that I was happiest with, although I have lots of other good photos from the shoot.
Louise was a superb model and I was praying that my photos would do her justice!
Let me know by posting a comment if you like them!
